Food Pantry collection

Because of the Christmas schedule changes, Saint Philip’s “First Sunday” collection drive will take place the second Sunday in January.

Bring your donations of the following items between 1:00pm-3:00pm on Sunday, January 10, to the parking lot outside the East Gallery. All donations will support Saint Philip’s Food Pantry.

  • Non-perishable food items. Especially needed are cans of spaghettios and raviolis, peanut butter, dry milk packets, Spam, canned tuna fish, canned fruit, boxed macaroni and cheese, and boxes of cereal. Extra cans of pasta sauce are also always welcome.

  • Blankets and sleeping bags

  • Checks made payable to “Saint Philip’s Church”

And… after a months-long hiatus, Café Justo will return. A limited number of bags of whole bean and ground coffee from Chiapas State in Mexico will be for sale at $10.00 per bag. All proceeds help a cooperative of small coffee growers who struggle to stay on their land and create viable livelihoods.
