Dear Friends in Christ,

‘Oh God, whose glory it is to always have mercy…’

Thus begins the collect assigned to this morning’s set of readings, all of which deal with the Lenten themes of sin, repentance, and God’s mercy.

This seems an appropriate context in which to provide a lovely music video of Thomas Tallis’ moving seven-part motet, Miserere nobis, which sets the beautiful singing of the English choir Stile Antico against images of the sea and white cliffs near Eastbourne, UK.

Miserere nostri, Thomas Tallis, Stile Antico

Miserere nostri, Dominus, miserere nostri.

Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us.

Yours in Christ,
Justin
